Dinner at Toby's

Life's short, but it is never a steal..Make a run for it, make your life the most wonderful and beautiful it can be..You only have one life, don't you want it to be the best life ever?

We had a very, very delightful dinner at Toby's yesterday.. I prepared a dish called "Hwa Chicken Tortilla" (my own creation), Kev brandished his magic spatula and Toby conjured up a fantastic dinner too..So, there were 2 main dishes, and 1 appetizer. Mine was the appetizer. That was my 1st time making the dish, however, I strongly feel I didn't mess it up though.. Nonetheless, there was a tad too much mayonnaise on it.The tortilla was, literally, overflowing with mayonnaise when I pressed it together. I failed to notice that though when I was making it..haha...Eventually, the tortilla relayed the truth: I over-poured the seasoning..Oh well, no success comes without failure..haha..

The ingredients I used for my tortilla:
1) a bag of shredded mozarella cheese
2) 2 bags of tortilla wraps (I used the crispy type, which didn't augur well with the taste of the dish..Note to self: use softer type next time..and don't place in oven for more than 10mins..)
3) 3 pieces of large chicken breasts ( I gave those chickens a nice massage before cruelly submitted them to my merciless kitchen knife...I sliced and cooked them in a small pot.. Threw in about 2 tablespoons of natural sea salt, and voila! The main ingredient for the dish was good to go!)
4) Cabbage. I forgot to add this to the dish actually..I sliced them up nicely for the 1st 15mins of the cooking session, only to forget about them later.sigh..Maybe if I added them, the fresh vegetable flavor would cover up the tortilla's overflowing hint of mayonnaise.

Improvement:
1) Use a different type of tortilla..Crispy tortillas don't go too well with the overall taste
2) maybe fry the chicken next time
3) don't use so much MAYO
4) maybe butter or some other seasoning would suit the taste buds better

I made a short video showing the dinner experience..All summed up in 1 minute or so :p
